Thriving, resilient and prosperous Pacific communities
We are a community-led regional delivery model that targets, coordinates and focuses efforts to improve Pacific well-being. Originally founded as a charitable trust in 2014 to support Pacific health service providers in the Central North Island, we are in the process of redefining ourselves to support broader well-being outcomes. Our focus going forward will be on focusing, supporting and leveraging the substantial efforts of the wide range of agencies and organisations that provide well-being solutions for Pacific people in the greater Wellington region.
Our goal is to support and enable projects across a range of well-being domains important to the Pacific community. These include housing; income & consumption; knowledge & skills; health; strong communities & connections; and security & safety.
Our Whare Our Fale
Our Whare Our Fale is a partnership with Te Runanga o Toa Rangatira, where our goal is to build 300 affordable homes for Pacific home ownership in eastern Porirua. This project was signaled in Budget 2022. We are currently working through the business case to secure the funding needed to deliver this project. Read a press release announcing the project.
